Great post. Just yesterday, I was embroiled in a conflict-laden situation involving several people--and I had injected myself into it also. Just before I was to meet (one on one) with one of the principals in the conflict, I read yesterday's "PeaceMeal"--a weekly brief peacemaking email from Peacemaker Ministries. The topic was, "Don't fight fire with fire." Wow. RIGHT ON TIME. I was able to ask God to speak in the situation and to calm me and move me away from my temper to his glory. It made all the difference. You can subscribe to PeaceMeal at www.peacemaker.net.
