Just yesterday, I was embroiled in a conflict-laden situation involving several people--and I had injected myself into it also. Just before I was to meet (one on one) with one of the principals in the conflict, I read yesterday's "PeaceMeal"--a weekly brief peacemaking email from Peacemaker Ministries. The topic was, "Don't fight fire with fire." Wow. RIGHT ON TIME. I was able to ask God to speak in the situation and to calm me and move me away from my temper to his glory.
